Area Manager - Pyro (Cement Plant)

Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and supervising the activities of assigned area. Communicates goals to employees and ensures that goals are achieved. Maximizes employee participation to achieve the desired team approach. Develops area personnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness and promote business growth.

A key senior member of plant staff/leadership team whose responsibilities include helping determine improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site while simultaneously leading efforts towards these goals and improvements on a department area level.
Responsible for coordinated approach to preparing all employees within process area to safely operate and maintain a large Greenfield cement plant.
Provides leadership for all phases cement plant, including organization design, hiring, training, erection supervision, drawing reviews, system development, and optimization of the plant.
Accountable for management and overall results within process area based on defined KPI?s. This includes development of area budgets, capital requirements, major maintenance projects and implementation plans.
Create, plan, organize and execute short and long range objectives to ensure continued departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsible for day-to-day execution and accountability of the department area?s function.
Benchmarks and challenges the department to achieve continuous improvement in all areas.
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the department area(s) in a manner consistent with Our Values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals.
Use LafargeHolcim systems, such as MAC, SAP, PMA, CBM, etc., to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance.
Support, demonstrate and facilitate the concepts of development and involvement of employees, continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based high performance organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESRequired Education: Bachelor's/Undergraduate DegreeField of Study Preferred: engineering, business or related field is preferredRequired Work Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of combined management level and cement industry experience in a site leadership roleRequired Computer and Software Skills: knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Project Management and SAP.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
